Can a believer...

Can a demon possessed person who finds Christ remain demon possessed?

This is a question of rights! Does a demon have the right to come in and stay if they were given rights to come in - in the first place?

This post may shake up your theology a bit.

This is also my newest blog poll question- sadly, only one person has been willing to take a stand either way!

Well let me answer it for you, Greg.

The answer is YES! If a demon has rights before conversion to Christ he still has rights after conversion.

You see open doors to demonic activity must be shut by all Christ followers. Generational curses and sin must be confessed and rebuked and stopped.

I'd sure love to show how easy it is to renounce all open doors. Believers need not live with Christ in bondage to the enemy any longer.

We need to redefine possession and ownership. You can possess something without owning it. We all agree that Demons can have us do things we do not want to do without owning us. We call it oppression.
