Is it funny or sad??
Is it funny or sad when people disappear from your blog posts because you hit a nerve that hits close to home. It amazes me that when people get hit hard between the eyes that they run from it. I have seen this lately, and I sort of feel sorry for the runners. Truth is hard to take so instead of taking it for what it is worth they run.
I call this living like a coward, what do you call it?
Come on kids!

Hey Bob,
I suspect that it has little to do with people "running" from your posts and more to do with the busyness of people's lives and the proper place of priority that we must all set for things like blogging amidst other priorities like family, career, and ministry.
I suggest that it may be inappropriate to call people cowards who either don't share your point of view or are simply too busy with the stuff of life to make a lot of time for blogging.
You know I love ya man.
Interesting take on the subject.
I said those who run from it are cowards. I never said those who disagree with me or are too busy are cowards.
It may be inappropriate to accuse me of being inappropriate here.
I also love ya man!
okay
Status quo-dwellers have never liked those don't want to live there. It was true of Jesus' life and ministry (Pharisees and others of the religious establishment) and it will always be true. Culture is built on conformity in answer to what I believe to be one of humanity's deepest needs - that of security. That need is why we gravitate to formulas and the familiar. It's why institutional drift has always produced dying movements and necessitated new vital ones. Unfortunately, the dying resent being told they don't have to. Living - real kingdom kind of life and discipleship and ministry - is just so darn hard and inconvenient.
You could call it "too busy for constant interaction."
Sometimes I'm gone for a while at a time. I would hope you wouldn't call that "cowardly."
There's a lot to be said for a positive outlook on life.
Hey guys and gals, if the shoe doesn't fit don't try to squeeze it on.
So you are not a coward. Are there cowards?
Mike, I love the positive outlook on life comments.
The message got home where it needed to get home to.
Steve, I want to hear more from you. You have some great observations I'd like to explore further.
Thanks for the insights you bring.
