What about female pastors???

All I can say is this, from personal experience, women do not follow other women, they do however, follow men. That should tell us something.

Sorry ladies, the ladies do not follow you.

Do you really believe this? I just thought it was time to get some action here.

Are you ladies going to let me get away with this? I set out the bait and nothing even grabbed a nibble.

Does the Bible prescribe women in the role of an Elder? Does the Bible set forth by example in the New Testament women in the role Elders? (Anser: no.)

Why under qualifications of Elders, the overseers of the church, does it say these people should be the HUSBAND OF ONE WIFE!?

I'm not sure I've ever met a woman in a pastoral position who didn't have a "chip on her shoulder!" That is, something to prove ... and that's not acceptable from any pastoral leader!

Seems like a cut and dried issue to me. Are there strong women leaders? Sure. Are there places they can use their gifts? Sure. Just not as an "Elder" pastor.

There, Bob, can we get something going now between our comments? Again, godly women seem to know how this should be ... so they have no argument here. (I'm not implying that women who would disagree here are "ungodly." Just, perhaps, unbiblical!)

OH ... and the wives submitting to husbands is a relationship coming way before the establishment of the church and Elders! What does that say?
