About fighting
Someone suggested I was fighting the wrong battle, the church.
I'm not fighting the Body of Christ - the Church - I am pushing against the practices or lack of correct practices of the Church. Why would I fight something I am part of - the Body of Christ. I'm pushing for a return back to New Testament obedience and personal responsibility to the Great Commission as a mandate for all who follow Christ.
We need a new ideology - see post down the line.
Making disciple is something all Christ followers should do naturally but then again we were not taught to obey that part, right?

The fight, dear brother is with the Devil. The enemy is our battle. We agree on this. My concern is that the fight against the "Church of America" is a heroic effort on your part - though a very big battle. I am suggesting that this is a distraction to your work which is to reach the lost - the commandment of the Great Commission. Reach the lost - forget the modernity of the church, the lust of capitalism and commercialization that had preoccupied the church and focus on the lost and build this disciples making disciples mission.
so by posting here are you fighting the devil by opposing Bob or just not following your own advice?
I am not opposing Bob. I support and pray for him. The beauty of blogging is that it gives opportunities to share positive ideas that can enable the great commission not negative criticism only. I wish to hear example of what I can do to reach the lost and make disciples. Who says I am against Bob?
PS - your perspective is over-rated and negative. I refuse to take this battle to believers ...

thanks for the life jacket, anony!
Rick says
"I wish to hear example of what I can do to reach the lost and make disciples"
Anon says
"Forsake your religious system and go out into the world with Jesus and His Holy Spirit as your only resource."
Isn't that how Jesus sent out the seventy?
You admit the corruption of the American Church.
"forget the modernity of the church, the lust of capitalism and commercialization that had preoccupied the church" WHAT??? Forget it??? Unbiblical advice!
Where in Scripture does God instruct us to stay in corruption in order to do His mission. Jesus called out the corruption of the church in His day. Why shouldn't we?
Good comments Anony! I mean excellent comments.
