When...
It seems to me that the issue facing the modern American Church is one of organization versus organism. I have come to conclude the organization to be an enemy of the organism. When we are more concerned with how to control it or contain it we have chosen sides with organization.
One of the greatest challenges faces denominations in the future will revolve around this issue. Will the denomination or local church be able to release organism ministry with their full blessing and support? Or will they hold tightly to the rules of control found in organizations? If they choose the latter they will miss out on the blessings of organism growth and discipleship.
Strong organizations and organisms are not compatible. They must part their ways for a healthy future. God will work in both and has proven that. But together, organizations and organisms will not coexist. Release organisms and watch God bless her with exponential effectiveness.
American Churches and Denominations must release the organism. Just let her go & watch her grow. Try to contain her and she will be forced to leave anyway. She is not a threat to your existence she is an asset.

My faith is stronger having struggled with the tension that exists between the organization and the organism. I tried so hard to keep the both together, thinking each would help the other. It ended in separation. You are right the two cannot exist together. The freedom that we are experiencing outside of the structure is worth all the hurt and pain of breaking from the structure. The freedom comes in actually feeling the wind of the Spirit. It comes inside and out. It is sweet to walk with the Spirit these days. Each day seeing little things that God is doing in us and through us. The organic system that God is developing in and around is just what we need to reach a lost generation!
I'm amazed at how often people think they can control or contain a move of God. Watching God pour out His Spirit with no one hindering Him is such a powerful thing to see.
Why would you even want to organize it? Like trying to direct Niagara Falls...just let it fall, baby!
Chad, you amaze me. Talk about transformation, you have experienced it. You will never go back, will you? God is doing a new work and He is bringing that work to America. We have seen His glory!
Marti, well put and helpful to the onlookers, I might add. As they throw you away, please find comfort in the palm of God's hand.
