How do you excel?

Do you excel as a church member?

OR????

Do you excel as a disciple maker?

Do you know the difference.

Remember the lack of comments says something. I'm sure you know what it says.

Where are you?

It's always black and white with you, Bobert. Are you this or are you this?

And who am I to say I excel (or don't) at either? Some days I think I do OK at both, other days I know I fail miserably at both. Some days I fail miserably at being a human being.

I'll say it again: It's not this simple. And I think you do the issue a disservice to suggest that it is and it can only lead to polarization.

Love you, regardless. :)

Mike you really didn't answer my questions.

Are you sure you are not just being defensive here?

By the way, I was hoping this post would bring you out of the woodpile and back into blogland.

Welcome back.

Mike you said, "I'll say it again: It's not this simple. And I think you do the issue a disservice to suggest that it is and it can only lead to polarization."

The Planter: Jesus did polarize by separating the wheat from the tares, the sheep from the wolves and the true followers from pharisees.

Maybe the polarization you describe is a bit like the above.

When the shoe fits, why not wear it.

No, Bob, I'm not being defensive. I have nothing to be defensive about. These are not either or choices. And you continue to frame them as if they are. When you do that (and you can, if you want, it's your blog) instead of encouraging comment you shut it off.

You are right (and it didn't even hurt to admit it) that Jesus polarized many people and I'm so glad I don't have to remind you that you are not Jesus. :)

You got me! I am humbled at your feet. I'm left dead for some poor Samaritan to pick me up and nurse me back to health. :)

This post was for you, glad you are back. I caught the fish I was hoping for.

You rascal you!!!

All things are not black and white, some things like the Great Commission and the responsibility of all believers to make disciples who make disciples is truly black and white.

The Great Commission is black and white and is to be viewed with supremacy because that is the way Jesus gave it to us. Anyone who does not like that better take it up with Jesus and not me.

I love you Mike! Be courageous and do not run from me, we have much to learn from each other.

Mike E, I look for you everyday!

Run from you?

I read every day, several times. I just don't always have something to say.

I long to see you.
