As we move into...
As we move away from existing structures and into the Disciple Driven Church, a movement of Holy Spirit led and empowered disciple making, we only ask for blessing, release and unity.
Is that to much to hope for? Sadly, I'm beginning to see that it is.

I like that picture of a chinese lad I saw recently, wearing a T-shirt with the slogan "Who the fuck is Jesus".
Just think, Bob, you Americans will be slaves to the Chinese shortly. With all that debt and no chance of paying it back.
So don't concern yourself with church matters, the Christian game is almost over.
The Chinese converstion rate is outpacing almost every other country in the world.
David, when will your people learn that persecution makes the church grow vibrantly??
It's the economy, stupid.
I suggest you first do this course:

and read this blog

Conversion to/from Christianity is a side issue compared to the entirely natural and man-made disasters about to encompass you.
You've been waiting 2000 years for God. When will you realise that God will not answer you.
God is dead.
Thou doth protest too much
Too much is not enough.
Bob, you should seriously consider deleting wackos like David. He's obviously a troll.
Chad, remember what Jesus said about casting pearls before swine?
POSTED BY BOB: "I really do have a Dream. 'I dream of authentic New Testament communities filled with mature, Spirit-filled believers who are consumed with Great Commandment hearts and sold out to Great Commission priorities.' - vision of December 19, 2005 BOB, IS THIS THE VISION TODAY?
Yes, the Body of Christ consumed with Mission.
David is an atheist - I love having him around because some day something just may sink in. And, I am hoping to meet him face to face some day.
Rick, I am not talking about the modern American Church either. The communities I'm dreaming of are full of believers who gather to go rather than go to gather. They are the Church in mission.
David,
I like having you as part of the discussion as well. You are well studied and challenging. I wonder when did you make the belief choice to be an athiest? Was it during your teen years or your college years? Was it through study or through circumstance or both?
David is not a good thing on this blog. He is a detriment to the work you are trying to accomplish. He is bad yeast and will quickly work his way through the whole dough. Bob, get rid of him! In no way should you tolerate such behavior...especially with curse words and to think they are so close to the precious name of Jesus!
David, go somewhere else. If you are fed up with Christianity and religion, why do you stick around here? You are an atheist...if you are right, none of this matters anyway. You get no special reward when you die for being right. We get no reward or punishment for being wrong. But if you are wrong you get an eternity of hell. yep, hell. Perhaps there is still hope for you though, since you seem to be here a lot. But please take your graffiti somewhere else. We don't need it.
Bob, stand up and be a moderator! If you refuse to delete the cursing remarks, you are essentially giving your stamp of approval. Delete him. By keeping his filth around you are not honoring Christ, nor are you fulfilling the mission of the blog.
I'll tolerate him. Grace is a gift of mine.
Actually I like David! At least he has guts. At least he is honest about his feelings. At least he lets us in his life. I like David. It the religious I have a hard time loving right now.
Your mission is solid...let's hear more of this. Show me don't tell me. More stories.
comments withheld, Rick!
What story do you want?
Healings, miracles, demons cast out, captives set free, food multiplied...
Come walk with us as we walk with Christ and experience the stories for yourself.
I could tell you stories but then I would be accused of gnosticism which to some means hearing from God. I would not be believed when I talk about the demons cast out or the freedom people have been led to. I stated some of my story but apparently I used the word "I" too much and that is self absorbed. What exactly do you want to hear about?
Our stories would blow away many in the civil church in America. Demons crying out for mercy would certainly freak people out.
The kinds of things you hear about in Africa are commonplace in the movement.
we each have stories, if you want to ask us, but be ready to listen. we will NOT apologize for sharing. I could tell you of people being liberated from "mental disorders" that have no cure aside from lifetimes of medication. i could tell you about people rescued from homsexuality, which is "the way people are born" today. i could tell you about things that, even in the church today, sadly, no one believes there is freedom from. But you have to listen. listen when we tell you about how the Holy Spirit shows up. Listen when we tell you that the old men dream dreams and the young men are given visions. Listen when we tell you stories of being liberated from demons years AFTER salvation. We are willing to speak. Heck, we are wanting to speak. are you willing to listen?
