No, going to church doesn't make you a believer. But I would not go so far as to say that it has NOTHING to do with being a believer.
Church can't MAKE you a believer -- only Christ can do that. But it CAN help you be a better believer (and i can help you NOT be a better believer...).
Do some people who are attracted to church think that by attending they are believers? Can a non believer attend church all his/her life and think they are in when they really are not? Do you think a majority of churches in America make it clear that Jesus is the only way to God or are they alluring people to the wrong thing?
You may accuse me of already having the answer, but for conversation sake, let's get it all out in the open.
