Reform equals the Holy Spirit.
There can be no great movement of God in the western church without Prayer and the Power of the Holy Spirit's empowerment/baptism/overflowing on every Christ follower. This Holy Spirit power is even missing in Missional movements in America. While trying to reinvent the church in America the Holy Spirit's role is neglected. When this happens we just have the same thing that looks different. Only the Holy Spirit can bring the American Church back to her redemptive roots. Only the Holy Spirit can reform the American Church.

Bob, what is the evidence of Spirit Baptism?
J.R. It's different for everyone. The unique factor however is that all close to the person being baptized by the Holy Spirit know that something is different. There is spiritual power.
For those reading, please tell J.R. what your evidence was and I'll be back for more later.
There is no filling without some evidence and while tongues may be present, usually it's something else, I have discovered.

From the sound of things then it would seem your theology is far closer to the Keswick Convention which predates the Pentecostal theology of 1901.
Are you familiar with Keswick?
I think it really goes back to the Scriptures which really speak powerfully for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. The power comes but not without great personal surrender and consecration.
You may be hard pressed to find a hole that fits my peg.
